Howdy!! March 20, 2008

Hey there my wonderful, fabulous students!!  Can you believe that this year is almost over?  It is so hard to believe.

I must give you a compliment.  You all are doing such a great job with learning about the planets and space.  I can tell you love it by all your excitement.  I am so glad because teaching about space is my absolute favorite!  I have typed out the words to the planet song below, so that you can entertain your parents/guardians by singing it to them.  Have fun teaching it to them!!

Science - Week of 4/7-4/8 March 20, 2008

This week we will be finishing up Chapter 9 - “Family of Planets” with Mrs. Taylor.  There will be homework on Tuesday and Wednesday night.  Tuesday night’s homework will be to write the WOW words on page 251, 2x’s each.  Wednesday night will be to finish the vocabulary review worksheet and to study for the test.   The test for Chapter 9 will be this Thursday.  Please encourage and help your student study for this. Happy Spring! March 20, 2008

Welcome to my web page!  I am so glad that the seasons are changing and we are getting warmer weather!  It is hard to believe that this year is almost over.  It has been a fabulous  school year!

I finally have my web page up and running.  I must apologize that I have not utilized this valuable tool more this year.  Please check back here weekly to see what is going on in Science.

We are currently on our way through space and having a wonderful time of it.  We have learned all about the planets.  Next we are going on to study about the moons of our solar system, along with comets, meteors, and asteroids.  We  will then talk about our expanding universe.  At the end of our unit we will learn about space exploration in the past, present, and future.
